The FIA World Motor Sport Council has unveiled a twelve-date calendar for the 2010 World Touring Car Championship season.
The calendar features at least two new venues, with the possibility of a third to follow, while there is no slot on the schedule for an event in France – the only country to host a race this year which doesn’t feature on the calendar.
As per usual, the season will start with the events in Brazil and Mexico before a second race on the streets of the Moroccan capital Marrakesh after the successful event held earlier this year:
