| My Comment | The most important thing first: This is just for real 956C and 962C fans out there! Although produced in 2003 the DVD contains material from the 80s and the quality is accordingly.
Nonetheless it is just amazing to see this footage! You take place next to Derek Bell who takes you on 7 laps on the most famous circuits: Le Mans and the Nordschleife!
Highlights for me: Witness how narrow the pitlane was in the 80s!! Also, where are all the people at Mulsanne? Another highlight: Derek Bell in the Fuchsröhre at 190 mph and then Jackie Ickx passing like hell.... :-) INSANE!!!
Other famous tracks covered by the 70 minutes DVD are Silverstone, Spa, Brands Hatch, Fuji Speedway and Kyalami.
Witness yourself how it feels to drive a Porsche 956 at 220 mph (354 km/h) on Les Hunaudières in 1986 where the chicanes were not yet in place (which were introduced in 1990) |
