Yes it is true… I bought another two books about the 917 both of them released in November 2009.
The reasons for buying them have been as follows:
- The one by Jeff Zwart: a must have! His photographs of race cars are the best around the globe!
- The 917 archive: finally a book by a Porsche engineer himself! The book fully focuses on the construction of the 917.

I hope to have picked the right books about the 917! I guess that the bar is set very high now regarding books about the 917. So I can’t imagine books coming out soon about the 917 that would be better than these two here.

If you ask me to pick out the best one out of the five: … very easy: the two from above (… and yes I know it’s not just ONE :-)
