| My Comment | What it is about: 9 months before the 24 hours race at Nürburgring (Nordschleife) 2009, Tim Schrick decided to enter the race with a privately bought street car and to modify it into a race car with his own team.
Content: The 2 DVDs are containing six episodes of Tim's adventure each around a length of 45 minutes (german only, originally broadcasted on the TV station DMAX). The story of the team is documented in a very authentic way and it is a pleasure to follow the team from the start of the idea to the start of the race...
As announced on Team Schrick's web site they return in 2010 with the same Aston Martin Vantage V8, hopefully in better shape :-)

- Uncle Funny: 70 years old race enthusiast, drove races with Tim's father Dr. Peter Schrick (founder of the camshaft producing company)
- Jörg Van Ommen: DTM driver from 80s to 90s and took home five victories!
- Darius Baghi: Runs his own company constructing race engines: he built a new engine from scratch for Team Schrick's Aston Martin! |
