One thing I'd like to provide although: the key characteristics of the different 917 models in order to give you an easy way to differentiate the variations of this car:
Since its introduction in 1969 there have always been made two variations of the 917:
- The "short tail" version, abbreviated by 917 K (Kurzheck)
- The "long tail" version, abbreviated by 917 LH (Langheck)
