| My Comment | Porsche won the overall Le Mans victory from 1980 to 1987.
1988, Jaguar finally broke the Porsche domination with its overall win.
20 years later, the Jaguar XJR-9LM "Silk Cut" races again in Le Mans during the Saturday morning Classic Race Event in 2008, my first year ever at Le Mans!
The movie features many many interviews with the key people at Jaguar and Tom Walkinshaw Racing:
Jan Lammers, Tom Walkinshaw, John Bute, Sir John Egan, Jim Randle, Tony Southgate and Andy Wallace.
Derek Bell, race driver for Porsche, also provides his point of view when he drove in Le Mans 1988 against the Jaguars ending on overall 2nd place with the Porsche 962C.
A very nice extra feature on the DVD: Designer Tony Southgate explains in detail the characteristics of the Jaguar XJR-9LM: Aerodynamics, Chassis, electrical side mirrors...
