I grew up with Nena and then I became a longtime fan of Depeche Mode, also The Cure, and of course also Front 242... Although I was pretty much following every release of those music artists, I was not aware of this project: Front 242 produced an artistic DVD containing footage of the Le Mans 2001 race combined with the unique electronic sound... This is something for people who love the electronic 80s and who have a relation to racing (a bit :-).
The whole soundtrack is perfectly mastered in Dolby Digital 5.1! At that time in 2002, this was a master piece of sound engineering and pushed the soundscapes to their limits!
The origin of the film content is based on Le Mans 2001.
