2004 did have very few factory teams, actually just one: Corvette Racing with the Corvette C5.R. So this was a special year for all the entered privateers, starting with greater hope to achieve better results with the absence of the professionally organized factory teams.
A late charge from Audi Sport UK Team Veloqx's Johnny Herbert ensured a nail-biting finale to an already action packed race. But in the end it was Audi Sport Team Goh’s Seiji Ara who took the chequered flag.
This win for Team Goh gave co-driver Tom Kristensen his 5th consecutive victory and record-equalling sixth title overall!

This is an action packed movie about the Le Mans 2004 race, lots of unexpected take overs and really tough accidents.
It also shows many interviews and views from the drivers, in particular Colin McRae who never drove in such a car before and Martin Short, the privateer from the UK crashing into a wall due to a broken rear axle.
