Highlights:
- Last battle of Audi versus Peugeot under the “old” regulations before they completely change in 2011
- Audi returns with the updated R15 TDI plus! Peugeot bets all on the old horse 908 HDi FAP!
- Porsche celebrates the 40th anniversary after the first overall win in 1970:
Hans Herrmann and Richard Attwood in the Porsche 917K. - BMW never started again after their overall victory in 1999. This year they return in LMGT2 with the BMW M3 GTR
- Another newcomer in LMGT2 is Corvette. Since regulations changed in the ALMS, Corvette decided to convert their GT1 racer!
- Strong Swiss participation at Le Mans 2010!
- Swiss Female Power: Three young ladies build one of the Matech Racing Teams!
Natacha Gachnang (Cousin of Sébastien Buemi), Cindie Allemann and Rahel Frey - Corvette provides 300m2 of exhibition area where 8 different Corvette models are presented!
- … but the No#1 highlight for me this year is: Jochen and myself got approved the official accreditation request for “Track Access” !!!
