Le Mans 2008

I had really no idea that “Le Mans” would become such a passion after my first visit. For sure I was very much interested into racing and cars in general but since then I know for 100% that every upcoming year I have to be there again!

It actually all began during a normal afternoon in the office where Kai suddenly asked me: “Hey Balz, let’s go to Le Mans once… what do you think??!!”… Said, Done. This experience completely changed my mind. So be aware of this when going to the Sarthe for the first time :-) …

• Thanks a lot to Pinky! The trip to Le Mans was awesome!
• CHGamers (Dubi, Kai, Jörg, Coni and Balz) joined Pinky for his trip to the Sarthe
• No major new car models were introduced in 2008 but still the ongoing battle between Audi and Peugeot after 7 wins of Audi in sequence since 2000 (counting the victory of Bentley in 2003 with Dindo Capello and Tom Kristensen in an Audi engined Bentley as an Audi win as well)
• Lessons Learned: Don’t go too far away from the start straight as you might won’t make it back on time for the end of the race on Sunday afternoon ;-)
