This annual of the 2010 edition start on Sunday, 1 week before the end of the race with 40 pages about scrutineering and administrative checks. Nice photos in this chapter! This is the first book from an upcoming series by author Quentin Spurring: 8 Volumes are currently planned in order to cover the whole history of Le Mans in great detail: 1923 – today. The book is [...] Focus of the book: All the races where Porsche was involved in 2009. This includes ALMS, LMS, FIA GT, the Cups and all the endurance races like Le Mans. The 2009 edition of Porsche’s year book is again covering all the events where Porsche was involved in. The 17th edition of “Porsche Sport” is the thickest [...] Focus of the book: If you are not really into buying racing books but you somehow have a little interest in gaining an overview of the most important Prototype and GT racing events then THIS BOOK is for you! It covers the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the 24 Hours of Nürburgring (Nordschleife), the Le Mans [...] This is just a fantastic book! High quality pictures (and there are lots of!), very nice hourly summaries, good coverage of the practice sessions as well as the traditional statistics of the race, the drivers, the teams and the manufacturers. The book also covers the return of Aston Martin in LMP1 after 50 years in detail [...] Focus of the book: DTM 2009, each race, all facts. When I knew that I would go to the DTM 2009 Nürburgring race, I bought the yearbook 2008 in order to get familiar with what happened in the season before. And as I was live at a race in 2009, I also bought this one in order [...] This book covers every race where Porsche officially attended throughout the year. Across 250 pages it contains: - All GT Races (ALMS, LMS, Grand-Am Rolex…) The whole book is spiced [...] This book by Thomas Voigt covers the 24h of Le Mans, the Le Mans Series (LMS), the American Le Mans Series (ALMS), the ADAC GT Masters as well as some FIA GT events. All in all I liked the 200 pages overview very much about these special kind of race events. The book as such is not of big value but if you have visited one of the DTM races you might like this kind of yearbook covering all stories around the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters (DTM) of a whole season. So the book is here just to let you know that DTM got its yearbook too. |
