Last year I bought this one in order to get an overview on all the Porsche racers before buying specific books on certain models. Will be released in June 2010. Focus of the book: All important sports cars of the 50s, year by year in 10 chapters, on 250 pages in very good photographic quality. It also summarizes the most important teams and drivers per year. Following the success of Haynes’s Formula 1 “In Camera” titles, the spotlight is turned towards [...] Yes it is true… I bought another two books about the 917 both of them released in November 2009. Focus of the book: All the races where Porsche was involved in 2009. This includes ALMS, LMS, FIA GT, the Cups and all the endurance races like Le Mans. The 2009 edition of Porsche’s year book is again covering all the events where Porsche was involved in. The 17th edition of “Porsche Sport” is the thickest [...] Check out the following links for two fantastic books! - Die Sauber-Formel Cheers Focus of the book: If you are not really into buying racing books but you somehow have a little interest in gaining an overview of the most important Prototype and GT racing events then THIS BOOK is for you! It covers the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the 24 Hours of Nürburgring (Nordschleife), the Le Mans [...] This is just a fantastic book! High quality pictures (and there are lots of!), very nice hourly summaries, good coverage of the practice sessions as well as the traditional statistics of the race, the drivers, the teams and the manufacturers. The book also covers the return of Aston Martin in LMP1 after 50 years in detail [...] The look and feel as well as the structure has been updated for the Books section. Focus of the book: DTM 2009, each race, all facts. When I knew that I would go to the DTM 2009 Nürburgring race, I bought the yearbook 2008 in order to get familiar with what happened in the season before.
